To make NGMA 2015 come alive online, we wanted to create a sense of community within amateur and professional photographers and make them ambassadors for NGMA.

So we created the 1st ever Great Instagram Exchange, an activity that facilitated friendships on Instagram through picture exchanges & gave people a chance to look at the world from other people’s perspective.

We also created a series of Instawalks across cities. In fact we tied up with the biggest arts festival in Mumbai, the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival & owned their heritage walks too.

And to promote this offline integration digitally, we created a one of its kind Twitter Heritage Walk, a virtual walk through different places in Mumbai and Delhi, 140 characters at a time.

This year the numbers went through the roof! NGMA saw the highest participation in 7 years with maximum entries coming in from the Instagram category.
